Greetings to readers. I’m conscious that I haven’t published anything since May, but have still managed to get out Turnering from time to time. Though I tend not to admit it very often, it is very frequently hard to see past the day to day. It was certainly no different for Turner.

Mind you it’s a while since I was in Caernarfon – at that time we were in the middle of entertaining visiting American birders and expecting Australian slate carving enthusiasts, over here to look at Dyffryn Ogwen’s decorated slate objects…..
